The Magic of New Apple's Mobile Phone

Apple has set the standards when it comes to multimedia handsets since the inception of the iPhone. But knowing that it could improve further, they have come up with a better mobile phone, the iPhone 3GS.

This is probably the fastest iPhone ever created by Apple and users will instantly notice its speed once they launch applications on their new handsets. Web browsing is a breeze as pages are rendered in just a fraction of time. Email attachments can easily be viewed in no time at all. Enhanced 3D graphics enables a crispier display while improved performance lets users run applications without any glitch – a potent combination especially when playing game applications. According to Apple, the new iPhone is twice as fast as its predecessor, the iPhone 3G, and is more responsive.

Another feature that was enhanced was the camera. While the 3-megapixel camera is a bit on the low-end compared to some Samsung and Sony Ericsson handsets, it is still a welcome change from the previous iPhones. It takes good still photos and is replete with built-in autofocus. This time, you can also shoot video. Editing and sharing tools let users make the most out of the high quality VGA video they have taken.

If you are tired of pressing your fingers against the screen, then control your iPhone through Voice Control, a feature that enables phone users to call contacts simply by saying the name of the person or play music just by saying the title of the song. The new iPhone also houses a digital compass application which automatically reorients your maps to match the direction you are heading.

Since iPhones are known for its multitude of applications, Apple has now made it possible for users to copy, cut, and paste words as well as photos in between applications. What’s even better is that you can actually copy and paste images and texts from the web.

For the sporty type, iPhone has a built-in Nike + Ipod support. This means that you can purchase the Nike + Ipod sensor into your Nike shoe and you can start working out while monitoring your progress through your Iphone.

Perhaps the best feature of the Iphone 3GS is the Apple’s MobileMe service. This support service will help you find misplaced units simply by logging on to the service site (me.com), where you can view a map which shows the approximate location of your handset. You can play an alert sound though the site or remote lock it with a passcode.

It’s hard to imagine that a single device can have so many purposes. And it’s almost magical that the iPhone 3GS can do all these. It’s really an all-encompassing device, an effective tool in these modern times. However, these are just some of the applications that can be installed in the handset. There are still hundreds of useful applications in the Apple App store that can cater to every user’s needs. With an iPhone 3GS in hand, you’ll have everything you needed one touch at a time.
